Home Party @ Sagal's Posted: 10 Jun 2013 08:07 AM PDT Sagal, my friend, and also girlfriend of Peyman, which is the brother of my boyfriend, Mehran (yes I want to confuse you all), invited us and Marjan (Mehran's sister), and Babak (Marjan's fiance) and couple of other friends to her house last Saturday to have some fun, bbq, and drinking, without the host. Sagal is a real cool girl to hang out and go clubbing with, but she's not a drinker. Been trying to convince her to have a sip for ages, but I guess I'm just not the convincing type. :P Mehran broke the bottle of wine I bought from Bangsar a day before, so we had to bring this bottle of whisky which we drank half of it there to the party. Urghh Mehran urghh, now what am I suppose to drink when I can't sleep?!? We found this bottle in a liquor store around our house, a place where we usually find cheap beers and alcohol. I was attracted by its packaging and its name, Grand Old Parr, sounds like Grand Old Pa doesn't it? Sagal panicked in the middle of the day when she found out that the chicken are rotten, and she was rushing around preparing all the food for like 13 pax. So me and Marjan and the others went over there to help. Kid you not, Asian women are born to survive in the kitchen. And all women, are born to chit chat and gossip in the kitchen, when the men are drinking and chatting about footballs in the living room. I helped prepare two salads, a mediterranean ones with a potato salad. Sagal made many bruschetta which were all so delicious and finished within seconds. Marjan made their famous appetizers, Spinach Yogurt, which I was too busy to take a picture of it. :( See what I told you about women in the kitchen? We only get a glimpse of the nice ones, before the men wallop them all,  and were left with the extra ones Sagal made specially for us. Thank you Sagal. <3 nbsp="" p=""> Mehran is always the darling in a BBQ party. You'll never see him drinking with the other guys talking bout football, instead he'll be in the balcony preparing food for everyone. :) I know. Needs more flash. Sorry, I was already drunk. :) Iman and I have no idea what's he talking bout. The sometimes crazy scary Hamid. You'll always see him saying 'wassup' to everyone, every 15 minutes, or singing some new songs which he just learn. And god he dance better than many girls out there! Peyman looks so cute doesn't he. He has the cutest baby face ever. :) But trust me, he's not that cute once you get to know him better. Ehsan and Mitra the married couple. Babak and Marjan. (told you I was drunk) Fatma, who was also the DJ of the night. :D Ok this turn into a peek-a-boo game. :D I got so drunk and ordered one more bottle of JD again. In the end of the night I just remembered forcing Mehran to get a cab so I can go home and get some sleep after one week of not sleeping. Reached home and found my feet so interesting with my new TopShop nail polish, and took a photo of it and IG it instantly. And start digging leftover food out of the fridge cause I was dying of hunger. Alcohol makes me hungry, include beer, which is weird cause many people get full after beer. Guess I'm just born with a skinny body but huge appetite then, God Bless Me. :D And I also forced Mehran to take a picture of me with my new found favorite pants from Kitschen. It's so freaking goddayumm comfortable. :) Later that day I found out I slept for 15 hours, woke up still feeling tired, and slept for another 10 hours the following day. :D  xoxo 阿雪

busy week update Posted: 10 Jun 2013 07:38 AM PDT Had a really busy yet productive week last week, and I was so amazed at my speed of driving around the city with crazy traffics and lack of sleep, so I decided to write down what I did in last week, and to motivate myself to work like this more in the future. Freelancers can be somehow really lazy. You gotta admit with that. First I didn't have enough sleep at Tuesday night, Although I was actually really sleepy, about to pass out in bed, but the pressure in my head forced me to wake up and start working. Finished the blog entries which I have to cover for Joyce aka Kinky Blue Fairy, and it's already 6am in the morning. Tuesday night itself is my brother James birthday, went to Subang with a cake and a bottle of Glenfiddich to celebrate with him. He was really shocked and shy when I forced him to blow the candles and cut the cake. ;) Apparently its his first time doing so in 20 years! I wanted to remind him he had a birthday party as well when he was a kid, but I guess he just forgot about it. I told him he needs to be more socialized and go out with more people, instead of just sitting at home and watch anime (weird Japanese cartoon), and go for martial arts training everyday. Yes my brother learn martial arts, I'm talking bout the true, authentic Chinese Marial Art, or many of us call that KONG FU. According to him he wants to keep this legacy/tradition/heritage of Chinese, so it won't vanish in the next 20, 30 years. So people, don't mess with me, or I'll ask my brother to kick your ass. *grins* Well, I'm proud of him for thinking so, but I also hope he can have a happier life! Anyways, since I slept at 6am in the morning, I was really worried that I might not be able to wake up the next day cause I rented the car, and have loads of things to do, and I don't want to drag it till the evening wasting all the time! So I forced myself to wake up around 10 or 11, went to Uptown from Bujit Jalil to collect my company's stamp, then rush all the way to the bank in Sungai Buloh. I was supposed to meet my old tenant in Bandar Sri Damansara to collect my house keys, then meet the property agent. But my cousin Wee Yee, which is also currently the owner of my family's old business, happens to be in the office, so I cancelled the appointment and rush to meet her instead. It's hard to see cause she's busy like a bee. :) We talked for a while, had some discussion on what to do, and we came up with a project, which I shall reveal in the future when it's officially confirmed. Later on it was quite late, and I got really sleepy and tired, so I just bought some dairies and other fancy food and went home. Hazelnut gelato made with fresh milk. Really yummy but it's only available in Jusco so far. :( A lot of cheeses. I'm talking bout A LOT here. Which Marjan used few of them to make lasagna for other nights. :D If you love cheeses as much as Jerry, contact me anytime and I'll be your next best cheese-shopping pal. Fresh frozen ravioli from Passion Pasta, which can be found in Bangsar areas. It's totally a life savior. The other day me and Mehran came back from a friend's party drunk, and we were so freaking hungry we started digging out every food in the fridge and we found this pasta! It's easy to make, just dump it in a pot of hot boiling water, wait for like 15 minutes till it's all floated up and looks cooked (this, my friend, is based on natural instinct), if you're too lazy you can just eat it up without any sauces or dressings, but if you're a food junkie like me, it's easy peesie as well. Just chop some garlic, tomatos and capsicums and fry them all together with other herbs and spices. I use pizza spices in this case. :) Anyhoo, I didn't manage to take all the pics. :P The next day which is Thursday (I guess I drifted a lil too far), again I went to the bank, then went to my home which I'm intending to sell, meet my agent, signed the agreement, went back home and get a few stuff, and I went to Mehran's again. Nothing much, but still quite tired and didn't sleep again rushing for a freelance project. Then started camwhoring at night cause I'm so bored staring at my laptop for hours. On friday, things gets a little brighter and happier. Just had one meeting, to meet Joyce. Gosh I was so excited as I'm finally about to meet my favourite blogger! Was too shy to ask for a pic tho. :/ We met in Botanical, Bangsar Village. It's a vegetarian restaurant, but Gawd, the food don't look like any other vegetarian restaurant! I was quite stuffed with my breakfast earlier, so I just ordered a simple salad with rockets, mushrooms and brie. Jaw-dropping. :D Then she invited me to this boutique Bazarro together to collect her stuffs in Jalan Telawi. Amazing collections of clothes, accessories and shoes. Bought a neon print skirt, and an earring which totally caught my attention and everyone's later that night. Cool, isn't it? RM18 each. After that Joyce went for her manicure, and I started wandering around Bangsar, enjoying doing nothing. :D Then Mehran asked me to meet him at Mid Valley (after I forced him to come to Bangsar), and I called Darren as well since I didn't manage to meet him so many times after he called. (busy la, what to do) Ordered a draught of Asahi, chill out after the stress of the whole week, then we went for karaoke in Kota Damansara. Cause I just don't get tired. After singing for hours, and I sound like a man, Darren noticed this guy in IG was wearing the same clothes as he did so we decide to put a same picture, and I shall be the Spiderman in this pic.
